Dublin, IE Dull, overcast, humid, breezeless day. I think it got to about 21 degrees in the afternoon. We could do with a good rainfall (ideally overnight!) and all we got so far was a 10 minute shower.
Dublin, IE A warm start to the day, it's 15 degrees now at 08:45. Light cloud with the sun breaking through, totally breezeless. 21 degrees forecast for later today, with rain to follow in the evening.
Just got back from holiday on NW coast of Aberdeenshire. Apart from first day when it tipped down, the rest was very cloudy, odd bit of sunshine but no rain, wind off the North sea was chilly but outwith the wind it was warm. Kept being told they had a special micro climate? Driving back down Glen Coe and heading for Crianlarich and our own micro climate - rain! However, today 15C intermittent drizzle, bursts of sunshine, slight breeze, cloudy.
NE Cumbria After a spectacular sunrise with some high cirrus and a few low level cumulus to reflect the colour of the rising sun, we now have fairly a uniform layer of high stratus but still a bright start to the day. A light breeze from the west and currently 15 degrees.
I spent most of 1972 in Aberdeen (working for the Links & Parks Dept for some of it) and recall a very mild Winter but Spring mornings were often marred by fret off the N Sea.
Sunny to start off with. Turned cloudy. Brighter now with sun trying to shine through the clouds. Temperature 18.9c. Wednesday weather has changed in the latest outputs. Plume will only be felt in S. East. It will be just warm herein N.E. Somerset. May even have rain.
