A most enjoyable read and one to be recommended, but I wouldn’t like you to think it’s’ only about photography since it’s more about his take on life, love of music, and nature; however, it doesn’t end there since it’s not written like any other biography and autobiography I’ve ever read; nevertheless I was immediately stuck by the following quote - the beauty of nature is unsurpassed by anything else.
That looks like a decent read, Alan... although I had a bit of trouble finding it at first.
I don't know what Google search is up to today- even when I tried looking for it with the title in quotes I kept getting results for lens cleaning wipes!
Finally got there in the end- the second-hand copies are a reasonable price.
I found it at Waterstones Rowanberry, but Amazon also has some fairly cheap, not that it matters but it’s surprisingly heavy for its size. However, you know me; I don’t take too much notice of reviews by those whom have no doubt been paid to do so.
