Plenty of colour at Chobham today with vibrant Bell Heather as well as less showy Cross-leaved Heath + Ling punctuated with Dwarf Gorse.
My highlight though was in flower. In one small boggy area were 2 species of Pitcher Plant- Sarracenia flava + S. purpurea. I was shown them about 20 years ago but the first time I've found them for myself. They don't seem invasive + made an interesting addition, surrounded by native sundews.
