I'm not very good about shutter speeds and ISOs, and all that- mainly because I'm really bad with numbers and can't get them fixed in my memory.
I was playing around with my camera's settings this morning, and took this image of a goose speeding past. Birds in flight are something I always find a challenge, so I was happy this came out in focus- even though it is completely backlit!
Birds in flight are always a challenge. I'm in awe of the skills of wildlife photographers I see online.
Apart from managing to keep up with the bird I find I very rarely have time to get the camera locked on(and dial in enough exposure compensation to overcome the brightness of the sky) before the bird is too far away.
