There have been a few reports of small numbers of Redwing around the London area over the last week or two, but very low numbers. I had my first today of the autumn over my local patch with a group of c20 south-east followed by a trio of birds. Quite a few recorders in London reporting them today with one count of over 100. Also been a couple of Brambling reported in recent days + a few Siskin.
I've only seen a report of a single Fieldfare so far a few days back.
Same here, hours walk down the old railway line at Harby today and more redwing with a few fieldfare clucking away. All the usual finches and others birds including a few tree sparrows and 2 little grebes, also not sure what and only heard it call 2 or 3 times flying over head sounded like a whimbrel probably curlew ian
