I have just googled " Devils bit scabious pink variety" and I agree with Aeshna that is what you have in the photos, I too get Private when clicking on your images, I like how you put different shots of the stem, leaf and flower head, the more info the better it is to ID the subject, well done,
Apologies to you for not being able to open the photos. I have changed the setting to public viewing (though photos are not the best) and now you should see that the hairs on the stem, the leaf shape & the lack of protruding anthers do not look like Devil's-bit Scabious, unless I haven't found the right matching photo!!
However thanks as this is the closest ID yet, but still the jizz isn't right.
The second photo down shows some protruding anthers. Have to say I wasn't totally convinced about the ID but there doesn't seem to be any other native species that fits. Maybe it's a European species that's escaped from somewhere?
